Recent decades have seen volatile and inconsistent protection of rights in America. Many people seek answers in reams of case law or court opinions, completely ignoring the root documents; the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. In many minds, the Constitution is weak, a relic of the past, and basically ornamental. In this short book, we read how simple logic within the Constitution has powerful structural and jurisdictional implications in plain English. We read sections of the Constitution as the Founders intended to read them, with supporting material from the Declaration of Independence and Federalist Papers.
Any citizen in the most general sense of the word is encouraged to read the Constitution. This book aims to show just how simple it should be to read and execute on the Constitution, in the exact way the Founders intended.
