This is an interesting story about a boy who was born in 1935 just after the Great Depression and his twists and turns throughout life. Some family vignettes and interesting photos are sprinkled throughout the chapters. Also shown are highlights of some historical events that happened in 1935. Witty childhood stories from myself and other family members were worth recalling and are shared with the reader.
Interesting memoirs should be documented primarily for present and future family reading. Remembering stories and other family events from the past has been a challenge. There is a direct correlation between remembering stories and the aging process.
It has taken seven years to finish this book. Why? Because golf, gardening and periods of writer’s cramp interfered. Happy reading.
